Welcome to the West Brittany cancer support group web site.

Cancer and its treatment is difficult enough in your own country, but in a new land, often
with limited language skills it can be very, very difficult indeed. That is why the Association was created.
We hope you find access to the support you need here, whether it is linguistic, emotional or practical
.

You are welcome to make contact via e- mail or telephone, or in person.

If we cannot deal with your call immediately, a time will be arranged with you
when you can be given full attention.

Cancer Support France is an official Association according to the French law of 1901.

The launch of the CSF West Brittany Branch was held on the 25th April at the Salle Du Lac Glomel.
This was a spring fare, home made tea & cake was served and stalls selling a variety of goods.
There was a good turn out and funds were raised to help our cause. Click here for picture gallery

On the 23rd September 2009 the AGM was held at the Madison Bar Quenoquen by kind permission of the proprietors Colin & Avril Rooke. A new chairman and committee were elected, everyone was most enthusiastic and we hope to be more proactive in 2010.

Tuesday 17th November a book sale was held at the Madison Bar Quenoquen. This was well attended and more of these events are planned for the coming months. See the Central Brittany Magazine.

Tuesday 10th December 7.30pm social evening at the Madison Bar. Fund raising bottle opening. Colin & Avril raised the princely sum of 313 Euros, for which we are extremely grateful, a big thank you to them, this money will be used to promote our organisation so that more people can benefit from our support. Pictures are in the gallery above.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with fund raising or counselling, if you would like to find out how you can be involved with our organisation, please contact Judith or Heather.
